Unless the other teams have a development breakthrough (unlikely) or they restrict Mercedes (a bit more likely) it'll just be a string of Mercedes 1-2s again.

I think at this point, like last season, you're watching the rest of the pack. As far as the TV feed goes, it's almost like Merc doesn't exist...there's no point in showing them anyway. I think there's gonna be enough interesting stuff going on once they get underway.

Also, Honda's performance so far is making me wish I bought a Toyota.

If Lotus's cars prove to be fast when they're not, uh, failing, and the honda engines are actually still restricted (and they find a way to get them to work right) it could be watchable. There's a lot of rogue elements at work.

I guess I'm just jaded after last season. It was the first season in a long time that I didn't watch every race, I just completely lost interest.

Even mid pack only had a few good races last season from what I saw. I hope they get these breakdowns sorted too, only 11 finishers is crazy (I know Marussia didnt compete but still).

Early days yet. Everyone wrote off this year already as being Mercedes'. There's just no way to beat them. As long as Nico and Lewis are at it like they were last year, it should be entertaining. I think that most teams are building this year with next year in mind, so we won't really see where they're going until the middle of the season, probably. It's going to be cool to watch the pieces fall into place. Mercedes won't have it easy next year, that's for sure.

That was more Vettel dominance and that annoyed me too. The sport has other major faults right now too, the fuel saving is absolutely ridiculous. I shouldn't be hearing that Hamilton is great at saving fuel, that's not a skill a racing driver should need.
